Day by day
Day 1 Nairobi to Samburu
Early departure north past Mount Kenya, crossing the equator at Nanyuki. Arrive at your riverside camp or lodge for lunch, then an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Full day in Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives searching for the Samburu Special Five — reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and Beisa oryx — plus elephants, lions and leopards. Optional Samburu village visit.
Day 3 Morning drive & return
An early game drive or a relaxed breakfast at the river, then the drive back to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon.
